RideLead is a ride coordination platform for discovering rides, creating rides, sending ride invitations, managing RSVPs, sharing logistics, and coordinating rider communication.
Platform Role
RideLead provides technology for ride coordination. Unless RideLead clearly states otherwise, RideLead does not organize, supervise, inspect, control, or guarantee rides, riders, routes, staging areas, trail conditions, private property access, weather, or event operations.
Assumption of Risk
Dirt bike, adventure, off-road motorcycle, motorsports, and outdoor riding activities are inherently dangerous. Users participate at their own risk. Users are responsible for deciding whether a ride, route, vehicle, equipment, conditions, and group are appropriate for their ability and safety.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for their own equipment, protective gear, skill level, insurance, safety choices, legal compliance, and conduct. Users are responsible for complying with local laws, land-use rules, posted ride rules, private property rules, trail restrictions, and riding regulations.
Ride Leaders and Event Organizers
Ride leaders, promoters, hosts, and event organizers are responsible for the rides or events they create, including posted details, route choices, safety expectations, rules, location information, payment instructions, waivers, and rider communication.
SMS Communication Terms
RideLead SMS notifications are optional. Users explicitly opt in by checking an optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox during account registration or account settings. SMS consent is not required to create an account, join a ride, or use RideLead. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Users can reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.
RideLead sends ride invitations, ride updates, logistics, RSVP notifications, event coordination messages, and rider communication notifications only to users who opted in.
Acceptable Use
Do not use RideLead for spam, harassment, abuse, deceptive invitations, unsafe instructions, unlawful rides, trespassing, unauthorized marketing, or communication unrelated to ride and event coordination. RideLead reserves the right to suspend accounts involved in spam, harassment, or abuse.
Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting access to their account. Users should not impersonate another rider, misrepresent ride information, or share private access details without permission.
Ride and Event Waivers
Some rides or events may require additional ride-specific, event-specific, private-property, race, minor rider, or paid-event waivers. Riders may be required to review and accept those terms before joining, paying, checking in, or participating.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, RideLead is not responsible for injuries, property damage, ride decisions, route conditions, user conduct, organizer conduct, trail closures, access issues, weather, or incorrect third-party information.
