Privacy Policy

Last updated May 9, 2026

RideLead helps riders and ride leaders organize rides, invites, RSVPs, logistics, and event communication. This policy explains what information RideLead collects and how it is used.

Information RideLead Collects

RideLead may collect profile details such as your name, nickname, email address, phone number, riding type, skill level, ride preferences, ride availability, RSVPs, invite history, comments, photos, and ride activity.

Phone Numbers and SMS

Phone numbers are used to send ride invitations, ride updates, logistics updates, RSVP reminders, event notifications, and account-related messages when SMS is enabled. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

How Information Is Used

RideLead uses rider information to show ride details, help leaders manage rosters, support guest joins, send requested communication, improve ride coordination, and keep ride activity organized.

Sharing Limits

RideLead does not sell rider phone numbers. Contact details should only be shown or used for ride coordination, event logistics, safety, support, and communication that the rider has allowed.

SMS opt-in data and consent records are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use.

Opting Out

You can turn off SMS notifications in your profile when available. You can also reply STOP to RideLead text messages to opt out of SMS. Important account, safety, or transaction notices may still appear in the app.

Data Protection

RideLead is built to keep private information limited to the people who need it for ride coordination. As the product grows, additional protections may be added for verified riders, event staff, private rides, and paid events.
